June 1st, 2006 Stefan Forssén received a cultural grant of SEK 10 000:- from Västra Götalands-regionen on the following grounds:
Keep your ear to the word and what do you hear? The gentle tonal language of Stefan Forssén always finds its way to the heart of the word, be it written by a brooding Brecht or an ingenious Hellsing. A mathematician, a musician and a composer who won’t let himself be stifled by genres, who always lets the music speak and who appreciates the context – on the stage, on record, in real life. |
